I think this is a reasonable User request for enhancement +1. I believe the
following behavior would be better:
1. Unpack files to TEMP (a system location which the User may have located
anywhere, i.e. a fast RAM-disk on my system).
2. Install OOo fully! ( It seems the install files are still needed until OOo is
first run... I have been caught out before and deleted the files before this
step having to restart installation... )
3. At the end of installation, ask the User whether the installation files
should be kept, displaying file size cost and benefits (as per leading
competitor). Default to Yes-> in which case unpacked install files are copied
from TEMP to OOo directory. No -> Immediately delete files.
Please consider re-opening issue and assigning to Requirements for evaluation.
