I am currently running Linux version 2.4.20-8a (gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5)). This is one of the variants of Red Hat 9.0. On about 2007 SEP 24, I upgraded from OO-2.2 to OO-2.3 and soon started experiencing hard system freezes. Running programs, such as XMMS, continue running, but the mouse and keyboard appear dead. The only action that can be taken is to reboot.
