Sorry, operator error on my part. I'm still learning and I've not found clear
instructions for this feature. I'm an instruction manual reader and the lack
there of is steepening my learning curve. I was clicking on the "close bezier"
button a second time which would open the polygon at a random point. I was under
the mistaken impression that the "split curve" button would toggle unlocking the
bezier curve adjusting points from each other so that they could be adjusted
individually instead of symetrically or vice versa like the "close bezier"
button toggles a shape open or closed (this would be a nice feature if it
doesn't already exist). Also, since I wasn't using curves in my shape, bezier or
otherwise, it wasn't obvious to me that the "split curve" button would even
apply to my situation. Thanks for the clarification.
