All these documents include a number of Mailmerge Fill-in fields. However, when I open such a document with OpenOffice.org 2.3 (or 2.1) on linux, OOo only retains the prompt and the default value for those fields. The actual content is missing. Instead, it shows the default text for that field. I will attach a simple example document to illustrate the problem. Note: I have searched through the currently open issues, and found that this issue might be related to Issue #56948.
