Hi there -

I get "Error 1304.Error writing to file cli_cppuhelper.dll. Verify that you have
access to the directory," when installing OpenOffice 2.3.1 (and previous
versions as well). I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, and I am an
administrator with full access and privileges on my machine. I have gone through
the forums and tried all the solutions listed there, including installing to a
different directory, turning off virus protection, and copying .dll files to the
system 32 folder. A solution on the Microsoft website that deals with changing
the cache used by the CD-ROM drive does not apply here, as I am not installing
from a CD, and in any case is not a solution that applies to Vista. Please
advise.

Thank you,

James Warner
