Ah, the amazing unclarity of words ....

When I said "Windows", I mean "instances of the class Window", not "the
operating system Windows" :)

help_debug helps insofar as it ensures non-empty quick/help texts for all
instances of the class Window, which allows those instances to cache them. (The
"cache" in the class Window is implemented as "when I ever had a non-empty text,
then remember and re-use it".)

help_debug does *not* help where no such caching is involved, so I assume the
performance problem of menus won't be affected by this "workaround".
