Yes, sounds same as what I think. 

Perhaps a little difference about this sentence:

But if you try to set (1) to too small or too big value, such as 1 or 200, 
(2), (3), and (4) will be modified to keep good balance.

I think adjust (1) shouldn't modify (4), (1) should restrict to a proper range
according to (4), so (1) will not be too big or too small. What pflin has done
is restricting the min. value of (1).

I had thought this effort would keep the original grid lines.
