I cannot reproduce the problem with an OOc2.4RC6 on WinXP. I have tested several
fonts and the block symbols fit together without problems.
Which font do you use?
Please try the newest version http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html
Please attach a document, which shows the error.
Please use a high zoom and make a screenshot so that we can see the problem.
