Is there *anybody* at all working on Impress? It does not look like that to me. In that case, I frankly suggest to remove Impress from OOo. If there is (thb, are you?), then I suggest that this person seriously looks at their priorities for this module. As others have said, there is not much that is more important than this bug, yet after several years, we are being told that there is not even a schedule on when to put this in place.
