This is a not a bug in the installer, it concerns the building of the RPM
packages for Linux. I couldn't find a better place in the bugtracker.

I installed the 2.4.0 RPMs on a Fedora 8 (x86) box.

Now, whenever I run "yum update" it wants to replace the 2.4.0 packages with
Fedoras 2.3.0 RPMs.

The issue may be that the spec file is lacking an Epoch.
(see http://sial.org/howto/rpm/epoch/)

Here's the relevant output:

fedora-release-8-5
# rpm -qa|grep openoff
