Current behavior of OpenOffice.org 2.4

Scenario I
 Steps                                  Save icon button 
 ====================================== ================
 1. File - New - Spreadsheet                    Disabled 
 2. Type something in the cell A1               Disabled <- Unexpected (*1)
 3. File - Save As  (File selection dialog appears) Enabled 
 4. Name it and press the [Save] button         Disabled 

Scenario II
 Steps                                  Save icon button 
 ====================================== ================
 1. File - New - Spreadsheet                    Disabled 
 2. Type something in the cell A1               Disabled <- Unexpected (*1)
 3. Press an Enter key                          Enabled
 4. Edit - Undo                                 Enabled  <- Unexpected (*2)

rajko_m points out *1 and I would like to add *2.
Those behaviors, however, seem as design of Calc... 

In comparison with *2, Writer behaves in the following way:

 1. File - New - Text Document                  Disabled 
 2. Type something                              Enabled
 3. Edit - Undo                                 Disabled <- As expected
