------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 16 13:38:24 +0000 2008 ------- Well, I claim that all those applications that permanently enable the save button simply had too lazy developers (or too un-visionary UI designers) to implement/invent the "disable the icon when there is nothing to save"-feature. Of course, this claim is as unproven as a lot of other things here :) Point is, I think this is highly a matter of taste, I don't see any *really* convincing argument (and things like "all others do it, they must know why" or "this is lame" aren't convincing arguments, really) for either of both behaviours. I don't have an immediate solution to this dilemma, but I think it needs further discussions. We should ask a wider audience, since obviously the change is highly controversial. For the moment, I suggest we revert the fix in the CWS, until we came to a final decision. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
