The latest patch i56856_2008-06-16.zip is currently under examination by the
Japanese community. Up to now, two concerns have been reported. They might
force us to consider the followings:
(1) LidFE (East Asian Language ID) and LidBi might be needed to be set as
well as Lid upon exporting a Writer document into Word file format.
(2) Compatibility option entries at 0x08 and 0x09 in the Document Properties
(DOP) might be needed to be set upon export as well as its clone at 0x54
and 0x55 and another clone at 0x1fc and 0x1fd.
With current implementation seems to work with a Word file since it
preserves the values of the entries at 0x08 and 0x09 upon import and
retrieve the value upon export. It, however, seems not to work with
a newly created Writer document since the values are not set yet.
