so i finally located a box with latest autoconf; said box runs os x 10.5,
surprisingly :)
so i regenerated configure and committed that, and the configure script runs and
indeed sets (by default) internal redland.
i have not tried actually building this, but i guess it should work, so i am
closing this issue.
let's see if the tinderbox builds run, or you can verify the issue if you like.
of course, if there is something i have forgotten, or goofed up, please reopen
the issue.
