Table's nuber formatting stops formatting numbers after you insert really large
numbers in a cell and attempt to format it.

1) Start Open Office Writer.
2) Create a table by choosing the table menu and selecting insert, then table.
3) Make sure rows and columns are set to two (2).
4) Go to the second row, first column (To avoid being affected by the column
header formatting) and type 100.
4) Right-click on the cell and choose number format.
6) Select currency from the Category and Select the 4th option from the Format,
the value in the Format Code field should be:
[$$-409]#,##0.00;[RED]-[$$-409]#,##0.00
7) When you choose ok, the 100 should be properly formatted as $100.00.
8) In the field to the right of the current field, press 1 and hold down the 0
key until there are 18 lines of zeros. Repeat the formatting step listed above.
9) Depending on some unknown circumstances, the function either replaces the
number with $0.00 or the program will not make any changes to the formatting of
the cell.
10) Return to the left cell and reenter 100 and hit delete to remove the extra
zeros that writer offers to put in. Try to format the cell as done above and the
cell will not be formatted again.
