The symptoms are the opposite of the symptoms of issue 62845. The end notes always appear in just one column when it is desired that they be formated in the same number of columns as the main text, while in issue 62845, the footnotes follow the format of the main text. Additionally, in issue 91691 a new section in a new page is automatically created, when it is desired that the end notes would be next to the text.
