You shouldn't lose any users if you employ standard redirections (code 302 in
http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html#sec10.3 ).
Anyway, http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/templates is of course an
improvement over http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/taxonomy/term/36 but
it will still be suboptimal since a dedicated Templates website is in the works
according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Templates_online_features
This means that you will eventually need to use a cross-site redirection anyway.
