@mib: The defect is in Calc.  This was uncovered in the pre-beta development of 
Excel 2007 support for ODF spreadsheet documents.  They found that, although 
they were using the OOXML formulas with appropriate namespace and prefix in the 
attribute value, OO.o was accepting them as if the formulas were OO.o ones 
(successfully, in simple cases).  They are identified as OO.o formulas when the 
file is saved from OO.o though.

We saw this in one of the demos at the recent workshop 
(http://orcmid.com/blog/2008/08/microsoft-odf-interoperability-workshop.asp#a3).

I don't know whether the demonstration files have been made available.  I will 
see if I can find someone at Microsoft to spring loose a sample that shows the 
problem.  Jesper Lund Stocholm may have run a test that shows it too, and it 
would be easier to get one from him, in that case.  I'll check.
