------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 18 14:41:36 +0000 2008 ------- I have three systems running Linux ubuntu 8.04 and OO3.0rc1 with identical installations of the jmf, as far as I know. They all play media in OO2.4.1 consistently without problems. Despite having identical settings in Tools-options-java-classpath, in OO3.1 rc1 they behave differently regarding the reported Problem: Two systems show the described error messages (and additionally dont't play videos at all, show erratic behaviour on loading older presentations containing media - sometimes freeze, sometimes just don't play). One system doesn't play videos inserted by "insert-> Movie and Sound" but plays the sound. This system plays videos inserted by "insert-object-video" but just once. Upon inspection of the "content.xml" file of the presentation I find that in OO3.0 insertion by "Insert->movie and sound" the mime type is stated as : draw:mime-type="application/vnd.sun.star.media" (on the system that allows insertion at all but doesn't play the video) and that a video that is played once and had been inserted by "insert-object-video" the object is stated as : draw:mime-type="video/mpeg" (on the very same system that plays videos inserted by that method once) Since you requested that, I will attach an mpg-video that -when inserted- resulted in this behaviour --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
