Please read my first comment. The Alt key combinations were just one out of three examples, so please don't reduce the issue to just the "Alt+..." part. 2. tommy27 wrote > people who do not need Alt+soemthing hotkey could easily leave those > unassigned. Exactly. Nobody would be hurt. I might add that probably most users only work with OOo under one OS only and therefore wouldn't even notice that the shortcut possibilities might be different on different OS. 3. The discussion whether OOo is a M$ Office clone or not seems totally irrelevant to me. Given that most OOo users are Windows users, offering a Windows-only solution would still make sense imho. Even offering features only available on Mac OS and/or Linux can make sense. There is imho no problem with OS specific features in OOo as long as they are documented for the user.
