See also issue 81097 which request more options of colour coding of text at pdf
export. So there could be seperate options for text and for (different sorts
of ?) graphics/images:
no conversion (default)
convert to RGB
convert to CMYK
convert to gray (only black ink)
convert to black and white (+ option to set black level: 0-255)
