------- Additional comments from jimav...@openoffice.org Sat Jan 3 03:24:27 +0000 2009 ------- If swriter or scalc is terminated after saving a document but before closing it, then when restarted the user is prompted to "recover" the document even though there are no changes to recover (the last change was incorporated in the last Save). To demo: Create a document, do Save, then log out. The session shut-down will terminate open office processes. Log in and start open office (e.g. swriter or scalc), and a prompt appears to "recover" the already-saved document. Expected behavior: The user should not see a recovery prompt on restart if there were no changes since the last save when OO was previously terminated. Suggestion: Remove the recover-save-file when a Save (or SaveAs) is performed, and re-create it only after changes are made. That way, the recovery process will not occur upon restart if there are no changes to recover. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
