For the heavy user it can be very annoying when editing. With variations of your example I found some information: - the bug does NOT appear if the paragraph spreads over more than one line AND you paste in a line BEFORE the last line of the paragraph. This is why it usually appears in very short paragraphs like lists. - the bug appears if you paste a formatted text but NOT if you paste "unformatted". - in some other cases it does NOT appear, I don't understand why. The bug appeared with OOo 2 and is still there in DEV300m37.
