As you are more familiar with the software than us, i would kindly ask you to provide relevant info on this. "On Linux (and other Unix based systems), views are implemented with the MVFS file system. Setting a view causes one of these file systems to be mounted (not sure if they actually use the linux 'mount' command), after which you can see all the files in development stream. In our case, the actual storage of the files is on a Solaris based system. The MVFS file system is therefore a view of the remote development stream.
