------- Additional comments from craiga...@openoffice.org Wed Feb 11 18:59:14 +0000 2009 ------- I installed Open Office 3.0.1 for Windows under MS Windows XP SP2 and "Check Spelling as you Type" is flagging nearly all words in the document (See screen capture at the URL above). I've uninstalled and reinstalled oo3.0.1 on this machine and this behavior remains (I also use the OpenSUSE Linux version 3.0.0, which works perfectly for me). I looked through the FAQ and Knowledge base and can't find a similar problem other than a very general "Spell Check doesn't work". I verified the Format->Character... dialog does have the "ABC English (USA)" under "Language". I believe something didn't install or configure correctly in my installation, but I haven't been able to find or resolve this issue yet.
