OD->seasoned_geek:
My exact wording was:
<quote>
... and that OOo does not handle the Lotus Symphony created ODF
text document completely according the ODF specification.
</quote>
I am not a native english speaker, but I can not read from my wording that "OOo
would violate the ODF specification by storing this information in the stated
attribute" while I am calling this attribute an "ODF attribute".

You are stating that You got Your OpenOffice.org version via
http://lizards.opensuse.org. Thus, I assume You are using OpenSuSE from Novell.
Right? If yes, I assume that Your version of OpenOffice.org is the Novell go-oo
build. I am not sure about my assumptions.
But I think it does not matter, because we already had found the root cause of
Your problem.
