When using the 'INDIRECT' function to refer to a cell in another workbook, 
error 502 is returned.  Uninstalling 3.1.1 and reverting to 3.0.1 resolved the 
issue.

Example:
=INDIRECT("'"&"Payroll 2009-09-04.ods"&"'#$Employees.A2")
