------- Additional comments from esperanti...@openoffice.org Fri Sep 11 09:56:02 +0000 2009 ------- I open a plain-text file in UTF-16LE by dragging and dropping it to OOo Writer (or by right-clicking on the file and choosing Open with… → OOo Dev Writer). The file opens absolutely correctly. However, after I edit and save it, the edited file turns into cp-1251 (the system default encoding), and all characters that do not fit into cp-1251 are replaced with question marks. This problem is present in the build of pre-3.2 I use, namely DEV300_m57, but could be reproduced also in previous builds under Windows 2000 Russian and Windows XP Russian.
