------- Additional comments from namast...@openoffice.org Thu Oct 1 19:13:59 +0000 2009 ------- One Font is shown in the drop down list, and it's glyphs are shown in ADD>Special Character, but when typing or inserting or printing, these fonts are replaced, either by rectangles or another font. When I make a document using this font, and copy it to my old computer (Ubuntu 8.04, 64bit, OOffice 2.4) it suddenly appears correctly and can be printed. This font is called Boxquestion, and is one of several which I copied from the old to the new computer. All the others work fine. Why isn't it possible for non-experts to edit fonts, and see where and why fall-backs are occurring? This font is very important for my wife as a teacher, because it consists of the shapes of the letters.
