It can be 指数 or 指数と添え字 but not インデッ クス. How to reach: Open a Math editor; Open the dialog by Format menu, then Spacing, press Category; its second item is "Indexes". In Japanese, 書式、間隔、press 分類; you will see インデックス. On the same dropdown, "Symbols" is translated into データポイント but 数式用アク セント記号 is consistent with the resultant dialog.
