It looks, that you just changed the "physical" indent of the second numbered
paragraph. You have to indent it inside the numbering structure: place cursor in
first position of the second numbered paragraph (right behind the number label)
and press Tab key. Now the number changes from "2." to "1." (as a real subpoint)
and everything else will also work as expected.
