(I wonder about, because mainly it works, but mainly I use DejaVu - I suppose, in the attached document there maybe it is another font... I suppose there are different fonts in text and in formula, that's why in the text there is no problem.) OO unfortunately doesn't inform the user about missing characters or fonts. Sometimes it then displays other characters, sometimes it behaves different for screen and print - this is a quite large problem. See issue 45128 too. Unfortunately too, one cannot change properties of all formulas in one document afterwards.
