Any developer trying to manipulate data and provide an export will most likely use CSV. Seems that the reluctance to correct this issue, is one more reason to stay with MS Excel. Keep in mind most users don't want to build an XLST or learn formula to format a column for exporting. Every Spreadsheet user I know needs this functionality. What is even more mind numbing is that this issue has not received any real attention in THREE YEARS.
