------- Additional comments from j...@openoffice.org Mon Dec 28 02:08:45 +0000 2009 ------- 1) File > New > Presentation 2) Insert a line 2a) set line color to "Light blue" 2b) set line thickness to 0.02 inch (anything but zero) 3) Insert a rectangle 3a) set fill color to "Light red" 3b) set fill transparency to gradient: any shape; 0-100% 4) File > Export as PDF 5) Display the exported PDF When the line is on top, the PDF renders correctly: 100% transparent areas show the slide background. When the filled rectangle is on top, the transparent areas do not show the slide background but instead are filled with the color of the line underneath. Any shape will work in place of the line, filled or not; the object's line color fills the overlaid rectangle. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
