Base does not respect the country-specific sort order for a Mac address book,
e.g. german "Umlaute" are
sorted behind all the letters. This makes the combination base/writer
practically unusable for generating
address lists based on the contacts in the Mac adress book. The workaround to
export via Base to Calc,
sort in Calc, then use Calc via Base in Writer is not acceptable for regular
usage.

Thanks a lot and best wishes from Nuremberg, Germany.
