I am using this version in daily basis, and tested what you tried however I can reproduce it. I will try on other machines too. Please sheck you HDD's healt condition with a program. HDD Sentinel is able to read SMART information from your drive (http://www.hdsentinel.com/). Or you can try the HDD manifacturer's utility to determine if it is not a HDD deffect in real.
