fs->pl: That's a regression of the fix for issue 96814, which introduced dynamic
calculation of list box entry heights. Unfortunately, for empty strings (no
matter at which position), the calculated entry height is always 0, which means
they're not displayed at all.
The attached patch changes this - would you mind reviewing it?
