It is very different in OOo 3.2.1 where the word "ODF" appears in the icon. For me it is clearly a defect. Please do not misunderstand me : I have nothing against ODF ! But "file format" and "action item in a menu" are two different things. And here the menu is "create a new text document" (whatever its format is) not "create a new ODF text document". In OOo 3.2.0 and before StartCenter and File menu was coherent, in OOo 3.2.1 they are not. So it is a regression. Regards.
