You can associate a hierarchical Paragraph style with a List style, but only the top level (Level 1) numbering style is honored. For all other levels, the Level 1 numbering style is applied, regardless of the outline level of the paragraph. The only place where this works is with the built-in styles "Heading 1".."Heading 10", which are associated with the built-in "Outline Numbering" (under Tools menu). If you have an example of any other Paragraph style associated with any List style which properly inherits the list numbering styles for *all* levels, would you please point me to it?
