This is something for koheiautodecimal. I consider the "8.30000" even worse.
Basically, there are two issues:

1. Wouldn't it make sense to limit automatic decimals to a useful number,
something like 10 digits?

2. The issue of trailing zeros. If there's no space to show "1.000001", what's
the point of showing "1.0000" instead of "1"?

Both together lead to the situation where a subtraction result, in the default
number format and column width, is shown as either 8.3 or 8.300000000, seemingly
random. This is bad, and something has to be changed.
