@medge42: Yes, you could write a feature request to me to allow the automatic
reparing. If there are enough users who need it, it would not be a problem to
implement it. It could be then a configuration entry that should be set by user
to allow automatic reparing.

The problem is that the repair functionality can not always say for sure how
much from the original data has been lost. So it is always better to let the
user know that the file was corrupted and show the dialog, so that the user
checks whether the document still OK.

I am closing this issue as invalid then, since the scenario works as expected.
