Case 3
Receiver also has version 3.3.0. Document opens as read-only.
Save as... to another name. Close the document and delete it.
Rename the copy to the initial name.
Open it : the document is editable.

The spec about this feature let suppose that the read-only document should also
be signed by whoever is allowed to edit it. The signature will, by itself, prove
that the document was not modified. Because the allowed editor (and also any
serious reader) should first verify that the signature of the received document
belongs to an authorized person.
So setting the document as read-only is useless, only a signature is a needed.
