------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jun 7 13:35:15 -0700 2005 ------- Tested on: OpenOffice.org m680 m107 (MacOSX) OpenOffice.org m680 m104 (Linux) When importing an EPS image (in this case, one created using adobe illustrator) into writer all that`s displayed is a preview box containing information about the eps file, in this case: Title: ev6.pdf Creator: Adobe Illustrator(R) 11 CreationDate: 26/3/05 LanguageLevel: 2 When printing the document to a file, the eps file shows up correctly If the EPS file contains a tiff preview it is shown in writer and exported to pdf (that is, the low quality bitmap preview is exported not the actual eps) This behavior is exactly the same when trying to import eps files exported by openoffice.org draw. Example files showing this behavior can be found at: Example document containing an EPS image: http://62.3.99.93/ooofiles/Ev6-AUP-brokenhlink.odt PDF export of the example document: http://62.3.99.93/ooofiles/Ev6-AUP-brokenhlink.pdf Postscript output (print to file) of the example document: http://62.3.99.93/ooofiles/Ev6-AUP-brokenhlink.ps Example EPS image: http://62.3.99.93/ooofiles/ev6.eps This problem also seems to manifest itself when importing an EPS file into the draw package. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
