User pl changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|NEW |STARTED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Target milestone|--- |OOo 2.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 27 03:46:39 -0700 2005 ------- The timestamps on the cached fontfiles are indeed a leftover from times where we DID stat all fonts on every startup. I think we can remove that without harm. The normPath function is needed to normalize the path names of files so they can be 1. identified uniquely by their names 2. actually found again (must resolve relative pathes) soft/hard links are not so much the issue here. So i'll apply your patch. But why do you think writing the font cache after we have built it is so unusual ? Writing it BEFORE that would be obviously less constructive :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
