OK, it seems you are helping in programing this, and I have no doubt about what
you say.

But things are not black or white, we have lots of colors.

So, you might keep the absolute reference, but when duplicating a sheet (lets
say sheet_A to sheet_A2), you can also replace all the references (absolute or
not) that contains sheet_A for sheet_A2. 

That way you still have absolute addressing, and you are "duplicating" a sheet
in, what I think, and not only me, the correct way, I mean, duplicating also
internal references.
