Please have a look at the help files for the special usage of combine:
"Unlike grouping, a combined object takes on the properties of the lowermost
object in the stacking order. You can split apart combined objects, but the
original object properties are lost.
When you combine objects, the drawing elements are replaced by Bézier curves and
holes appear where the objects overlap."
When selecting all (CTRL-A) and exporting to png everything is in it, even the
labels. You do not need to combine them. Sorry, not reproducible. Please attach
an exact step by step description and a resulting png. Thanks.
