Hi all,
its the first time I have come across this, because normally links are actually active. However, I got an email, structured where after one chose from options, they would be taken to content. Yet, there were no active links, perhaps embedded, leading to my question.

does alpine have a keystroke that changes links in any way? for example, there are keystrokes in l y n X that do wonderful things with hidden links. In pine, sometimes I simply send myself a copy of the email, and links referenced work. Ideas?

This sounds like html vs text view differences. If correctly configured to support toggling, then pressing "A" makes alpine try to render html and in that mode more links work. If it's one of those javascript embedded ones you're likely out of luck without spawning the main page of html to a browser in which all links would work. That's usually right arrow to show the separate html or text versions and then enter on the right one.
