A few questions:
* the aux input volume is "reduced" right after boot.
If I toggle CD-in mute off and on it becomes normal - and
stays that way whether CD-in mute is on or off.
* the above might be connected with the fact that if I unmute
ADC/DAC control the sound becomes noticeably loader
* I had a similar report from Create Live ! user. The symptom was
that TV sound from a sound card has noticable distortion - in my
case I was setting video card volume too much to compensate for
initial reduced volume and was getting some clipping
* Game theatre has all kinds of nifty features (it uses cs4630)
I have read that a lot of them are not supported because of lack
of documentation.
Am I right in assuming that the only thing that is lacking is
instruction set for the built-in DSP ? (I've been in cirrus website
and they seem to have everything else).
Does anyone know if Cirrus bought DSP cores a couple of years ago
and from whom ?
