Hello. I've got GUS PnP card, 2.4.13-ac8 kernel and 0.9.0beta10a alsa driver. When sequencer volume is not set to minimal value, the output is VERY NOISY (even when no sound played) - like a waterfall in background. OSS driver doesn't have such a "feature". Please could you fix this bug?
