Weird. I don't know how that happened; cvs update apparently wasn't getting everything. I even tried deleting alsa.m4 and it updated to the same (wrong) version. I just deleted the entire alsa-lib directory and now I've got your changes. Very weird. Good news! I can now compile and install. cs4236 is working! Thank you very much!
